Anorexia Nervosa (AN)

Anorexia nervosa, often referred to as just anorexia, is an eating disorder characterized by an obsessive concern over food intake and an intense fear of weight gain. People who struggle with anorexia have a disturbed body image, leading to a severe restriction of food and calories which interferes with their overall health and everyday lives. Anorexia can involve both food restriction and binge/purge behaviors. If you or someone you love is living with anorexia, help is within reach.
